Our original show, and one of the most popular since 2003! This exciting, educational and very HANDS-ON program features a diverse selection of our amazing Wildlife Ambassadors, and presented by one of our highly-educated and dynamic Educators!!
Perfect for those little ones that love to hold and touch and may not have had alot of exposure to animals, but are eager to start learning! Let The W.I.L.D. Center & Zoological Park of New England’s professional Educators teach them how to be respectful of and safe around animals! At the end, we all have fun washing our hands with “magic soap”!

The W.I.L.D. Center is unique in the region by enabling you to choose the perfect choice of animals for your event! Ask for Grumpy Gus, Stitch, or Thorn by name if you like. Exclude snakes or spiders, if you would prefer they stay at the Wildlife Center, the choice is yours!

Radical Reptile Encounter
Cost: $230.00 + Travel
Who better to talk to your kids about respecting the amazing reptiles on our planet, than your local non-profit Zoo!?
Strikingly absent of any “pet-trade” spin, this program will feature 10-12 of The W.I.L.D. Center & Zoological Park of New England’s LEVEL-1 Coldblooded Wildlife Ambassadors (see animal gallery for photos of possible reptiles).
The W.I.L.D. Center & Zoological Park of New England’s professional Educator will present animals generally one-at-a-time, and participants will have plenty of time to get up-close, touch and possibly hold (very supervised) some our most docile and amazing reptilian Animal Ambassadors! Many of the animals in this show will be animals that were confiscated by law enforcement or abandoned by previous owners. Your hiring this program helps our non-profit organization provide them the care and housing they need to live long, healthy lives!

WILD American Encounter

If you are looking for a New England Species program, then please call and support our friends at the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, Chewonki or the Maine Wildlife Park!
However, if you wish to meet a few of our New England neighbors but then stroll across the Great Plains, swamp-walk through the
Everglades, slither across the Sonoran Desert of the South Western United States and snowshoe across Northern Canada, then this program is for you!
Typical Animals: 7 species native to North America such as, an Alligator, Armadillo, Skunk, Eastern Indigo Snake, Prairie Dog etc.

GLOBALtour Encounter

Due to the amazing diversity of live animals that The W.I.L.D. Center & Zoological Park of New England offers in this Wildlife Encounters® show… this is rapidly becoming our most popular mid-range presentation! The W.I.L.D. Center management selects the animals that attend, so for you and your guests, it is a SURPRISE!
One of our highly-talented, dynamic and engaging professional Educators will lead the audience on an “imaginary safari around the world full of amazing animal adventures”! Experience Animal Ambassadors such as an Arctic Fox up close and personal! Hands-on time with some of the animals is available, based on the group size and venue, and always at the presenter’s discretion.
Nobody is ever disappointed with this program! Very popular with libraries, Rec Programs and all elementary-age groups and older!
Typical Animals: 7 diverse species native to many different habitats around the world!

Center & Zoological Park of New England not only offers you the ability to choose the perfect selection of animals for your event, but in-the-case of over a dozen of our species – we have the only ones of their kind that travel in Northern New England! Invite a Wallaby, an Arctic Fox or an African Crested Porcupine to your Birthday Party, Summer Camp or other event by calling our office today at 603-817-6735!
Typical Animals: (5) LEVEL-1 & (2) LEVEL-2 Species. Based on availability!

The X-7 Encounter
Cost: $395 + Travel
7 of the Zoo’s Largest and/or most Exotic Ambassadors!
The exact animals are not a fixed-group, but it might include any the following
- Isis the African Serval Cat or Conan the Bobcat
- An Arctic Fox (protected contact with a glove on a possibility)
- An African Crested Porcupine
- A Bennett’s Wallaby (if we bring a joey, somebody could help hold it in it’s pouch for a picture)
- Sid a Moluccan Cockatoo famously known as “The Alarm Clock of the Rainforest!”
- Zabu the ring-tailed lemur
- A Giant Sulcata Tortoise (Tudor at about 88 lbs) Anybody want a ride!?
Again, others like a larger Alligator, Thorn the Prehensile-tailed Porcupine, or a very large snake are also options based on what is available and OK to travel on any given day.
